GarajApp is a peer-to-peer marketplace designed for renting garage spaces in urban and suburban areas. The platform connects hosts—who list unused garages—with renters looking for secure and flexible storage or parking options. GarajApp supports both short-term and long-term rentals, and all payments, communications, and reviews are handled within the platform. 

Hosts can create listings for their garage spaces directly from the GarajApp dashboard. Each listing includes:

• Location: Street or neighborhood-level details, often organized by city and subcategories (e.g., Chicago neighborhoods).
• Type of Garaj: Single-car, double-car, detached, converted, storage, etc.
• Features: Security features, climate control, loft space, tandem capacity, eco-friendly build, etc.
• Availability & Pricing: Hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly rental rates, with custom terms allowed.
• Photos: Interior and exterior images to help renters assess suitability.

Listings are categorized and searchable, allowing renters to filter by neighborhood, type, and amenities. 

Renters browse available spaces and submit booking requests through the platform. The process involves:

1. Selecting Dates: Choosing rental start and end dates.
2. Reviewing Terms: Accepting platform rules and any custom host terms.
3. Payment: Completing checkout through GarajApp’s secure payment system.
4. Confirmation: Hosts approve the booking request, and confirmation is sent via in-app messaging and email. 

GarajApp manages all transactions between renters and hosts.

• Renters pay through the app using credit/debit cards or other supported payment methods.
• Hosts receive payouts after rental completion, minus GarajApp’s service commission.
• Security Deposits (optional) may be applied depending on host preferences. 

After a rental ends, both hosts and renters can leave reviews.

• Renters rate the quality, safety, and accuracy of the listing.
• Hosts rate renters based on communication and property care.

Testimonials are displayed on profiles to build trust within the community. 

GarajApp includes a secure in-app messaging system for communication between hosts and renters.

• Renters can ask questions before booking.
• Hosts can clarify terms or provide instructions for access.
• All communication is logged to support dispute resolution if needed. 

In the event of disagreements, GarajApp provides:

• Automated Rules: Refunds or adjustments for clear-cut cases (e.g., booking canceled before start).
• Manual Review: Complex disputes handled by GarajApp’s support team.

Both parties must accept GarajApp’s terms before using the platform, ensuring clear guidelines for dispute outcomes.
